For many people, the hardest part of seeking support isn’t talking about their feelings — it’s being able to afford the space to do so. I see this all the time: people carrying years of emotional weight because counselling feels out of reach, or because they’ve been taught that therapy is something “other people” get to have.

I don’t believe that.

Counselling is a human need, not a premium service. It’s a space to be heard, understood, and met without judgement — and that shouldn’t depend on your income, job, or circumstances.

This is why I offer flexible, accessible options. Not because it’s a marketing angle, but because it’s an ethical stance. When someone is struggling, the last thing they need is another barrier.

Counselling becomes possible when we remove the fear of cost. It becomes safer when people know they won’t be punished financially for needing more time. And it becomes transformative when people can show up consistently without shame.
